Suspects wanted in connection to shooting have been caught

BRUNSWICK CO., NC (WWAY) — Two suspects allegedly involved in a shooting last week have been caught.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Deontray Bryant and Mickey Bryant were caught today in Louisiana by US Marshals.

Police say Dwight Powell Jr., 24, who was also reportedly involved, turned himself in Saturday afternoon.

Deputies found Bryan Johnson shot in a field on Makatoka Road Thursday night.
