Two hurt in afternoon shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that happened in Wilmington this afternoon. Police say two people were shot and taken to the hospital.

It happened in the driveway of a home off of 30th and Princess Place Dr.

Police say the public isn’t in any danger though they would not give any information about the suspects. They also say the victims injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
