UPDATE: Wilmington Police identify victims shot in driveway

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are still investigating a shooting they say sent two men to the hospital Monday afternoon, one with a gunshot wound to the foot and the other with a gunshot wound to the groin.

Wilmington Police say it happened in front of a home at 2926 Princess Place Drive just after 2 p.m. Officers say ShotSpotter alerted them to shots fired in the area, near the intersection of N. 30th Street.

That’s where police say Aliquan Dameish Rouse, 21, and Michael Tyrone Bridges, 19, were both shot while standing outside of the home. Officers say Rouse was shot in the groin and Bridges was shot in the foot, neither of which were life-threatening injuries.

Police say they do not have any suspect information, but that the shooting is still under investigation.
