Police: Robbers pull knife on customer at Wilmington Taco Bell

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police arrested two suspects they say stole cash from a Wilmington Taco Bell customer at knife-point last night.

Wilmington Police say it happened just after 8:30 p.m. at the Taco Bell at 630 S. College Road. That’s where officers they say a customer was approached by the suspects, who told them they could do tattoo work.

Police say the suspects then began to get aggressive before one of them pulled a knife on the customer, demanding money. Officers say the two suspects stole some cash and took off running across S. College Road.

Police say UNCW Police and K-9 officers helped search for the suspects, who were later found in a wooded area across the street from Taco Bell. Officers arrested Edward Shawn Miller, 43, of Wilmington and David John Depass, 27 of Clinton.
