2 of 3 suspects charged with dine-and-dash
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies say help from the community led them to arrest two of three suspects wanted for a dine-and-dash at a Monkey Junction restaurant.
Investigators say after releasing surveillance images of the trio, they got a lot of information from the public. It led deputies today to arrest David Hahn and Amanda Jean Baker. They also have a warrant for Jennifer Cain.
Deputies say on Dec. 8 the three suspects ate at Buffalo Wild Wings in Monkey Junction and ran up a $115 bill, then gave the waitress a false credit card and left the restaurant.
Hahn, 27, and Baker, 28, are charged with obtaining property by false pretense, identity theft and defrauding an innkeeper.
