Trailer for locally-shot ‘The Longest Ride’ released

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Listen up, all Nicholas Sparks fans!

The trailer for "The Longest Ride," which shot in the Wilmington area and other parts of North Carolina has been released. The movie is based on the novel by Sparks.

The film centers around a young couple intertwined with a much older man as he reflects back on his lost love.

It stars Scott Eastwood, son of Clint Eastwood, and Alan Alda. 

"The Longest Ride" hits theaters in April.
