UPDATE: Both men arrested for separate assault incidents

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office have located both men wanted for assault by strangulation in two unrelated incidents.

Jason William Kelly (right) is now in custody. He is facing charges of assault by strangulation, assault on a female, interfering with emergency communication, and misdemeanor child abuse. The incident happened Thursday evening. He is being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility. There is no word on his bond.

Shallotte man Jeramy John Lewis, 28, is also facing charges of assault by strangulation and assault on a female for an incident that occurred Thursday night. Lewis (left) was arrested Friday afternoon. No word on his bond.
