Coast Guard continues search for 4 crew members, boat
RALEIGH (AP) — The Coast Guard was continuing to searching today for a sailboat and its four crew members.
The 54-foot "Flying Colours" sailboat went missing Monday in rough seas off the North Carolina coast about 120 miles southeast of Cape Lookout.
Rescue crews have scoured nearly 55,000 square miles for the missing boat.
Officials also say today they discovered a missing boat — the "Illusion" — about a half-mile off the coast on Wednesday afternoon.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Kip Wadlow says the boat was partially submerged and still intact.
