WPD: Woman leaves hotel room, returns with robbers

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department are looking for a woman and two men accused of robbing a man at a hotel.

The robbery happened Thursday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in the 5000 block of Market Street. Police say the victim met a woman at the hotel, and after 30 minutes the woman said she needed to call her mother. When she left the room, two men walked into the room and pointed a gun at the victim. Both the men and the woman stole money from the victim. Police say the suspects then got into a car and left.

The only description for the suspects was a slender-build white woman and two black men. No other details were available. No word on where the victim and woman met.
