Cop caught peeping

CHARLESTON COUNTY — A cop takes an inappropriate peek.

The head of Charleston County’s detectives division was arrested for violating the state’s peeping tom law.

Captain Jesse Hammet was charged with two counts of peeping, after neighbors found him perched on an adjoining roof, looking through a bedroom window.

Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman John Clark says Hammet was placed on administrative leave.
