WPD: Shooting victim was also armed robber

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New details have been released in a shooting death from the weekend.

Police say it happened in the parking lot of 420 Raleigh St. around 10 p.m. Police say earlier in the evening, Frankie Stukes tried to rob a man in a parking lot.

There’s no word on the identity of the attempted robbery victim or any charges at this time.
