Police: Suspicious death now considered a murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are now calling the death investigation of a man found in an abandoned home a murder.

The body of a white male was found at a home in the 4100 block of Princess Place Drive shortly before noon Thursday, police said.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
