Foot slips off brake, truck hits hair salon

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The front of a New Hanover County hair salon was damaged after a truck slammed into the business this morning.

It happened just after 9 a.m. on Judges Road off Market Street.

That’s where firefighters say the driver’s foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas, sending the truck through the front of Charlee’s Hair Salon.

Firefighters say it was an accident and no one was hurt.
