Holden Beach house fire cause undetermined
HOLDEN BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Fire crews have been unable to determine how a fire started at a home Friday night.
The Tri-Beach Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire at 1079 Ocean Blvd. West at about 8:45 p.m. Friday. They found a two-story house engulfed in flames. They battled the fire with help from several other agencies, but the home was destroyed. The fire also damaged the homes on either side.
Monday afternoon, fire investigators said the cause is undetermined. They estimate the damage to all three houses at more than $325,000.
Investigators say all of the homes were unoccupied when the fire broke out.
