Motorcyclists ride for charity

Earlier this week we brought you the story of a group of motorcyclists traveling 500 miles to make a difference.

Friday night the group is in Rocky Mount. They’ll ride the final 90 miles to New Bern Saturday.

The ride is sponsored by Trinity Children’s charities of Wilmington. Proceeds will benefit two local groups: Boys and Girls Home of Lake Waccamaw and the Carousel Center of Wilmington.

The group has already collected $95,000 and hopes to break the $100,000 mark.
