CFCC heads to national juco tournament for the second year in a row

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – The Cape Fear Community College men’s basketball team begins play on Monday at the NJCAA Tournament. It’s essentially the national championship for division 1 basketball on the junior college level. This is the second year in a row the Sea Devils will be participating in the national event. CFCC will face Logan Community College in the first round on Monday at 8:30 Central (9:30EST).

“I don’t know if there is anything different that we will do,” CFCC head coach Ryan Mantlo said on Thursday. “We’ve always been pretty prepared when we go out there. I think it’s a matter of our kids feeling that the situation is not too big.”
