Brunswick County to improve Bellville Elementary situation

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The Brunswick County Board of Education taking action to improve the situation at Belville Elementary School. The school is overflowing.

The board has approved a proposal to add eight classrooms to the elementary school. The goal is to increase the capacity of the school, which currently serves more than 800 students in a building that only has capacity for just over 600.

This project will be in addition to plans the district already has to build two new schools.
