Home invasion suspect pleads guilty

The suspect in a series of home invasions last year pled guilty to all of his charges Tuesday.

Steven Lewis pled guilty to armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Prosecutors say Lewis broke into a number of houses near Lullwater and Market Streets, locked his victims in a bathroom and then stole from them.

Lewis was caught when he stole a cell phone then called his own number from the stolen phone. He was sentenced to at least sixteen years behind bars.
