Topsail ruins West Brunswick’s unbeaten season

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — West Brunswick entered Friday’s Mideastern Conference showdown with Topsail sporting a perfect 8-0 record. It did not take long for West Brunswick to fall behind. Topsail senior(and future UNCW Seahawk) Clark Cota slammed the first pitch he saw over the fence to give Topsail a 2-0 lead.
