N.C. Fair tickets now on sale

RALEIGH (AP) — Tickets for the 2007 North Carolina State Fair are on sale online more than a month before the gates open in Raleigh.

Officials say buying now online will save people $2 per adult ticket and $8 for each sheet of ride tickets. Tickets for admission, rides and concerts can be bought at the fair grounds, the State Agriculture Department and six malls from Wilson to Greensboro on September 27.

The fair runs October 12 to 21.
