North Carolina man wins comedy show

HICKORY, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina man is the winner of the NBC comedy competition, "Last Comic Standing."

Fans chose Jon Reep of Hickory over Lavell Crawford of St. Louis. The winner was announced last night.

Reep gets $250,000, a talent contract with NBC Universal and his own half-hour comedy special on Bravo.
