A trip down Bradley Creek

Recreation met conservation as kayak enthusiasts spent the day on Bradley Creek, learning about the great outdoors.

The Airlie Environmental Program and Salt Marsh Kayaks guided a tour group out on Bradley Creek to learn more about it’s eco-system. Participants picked up information about wildlife and what people can do to preserve natural resources.

Program Manager Nicole Mitchell says getting people to understand more about the environment may inspire them to take action.

“This is just one of those different activities that you can do to help gain an appreciation for the eco-systems, so that way the more you know the more you can do,” she said.

This tour of education and recreation is offered periodically at Airlie Gardens.
