Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get pink hair

WILMINGTON — Want to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a creative and fashionable way?

For a $10 donation you can get a bright pink hair extension. The money goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The extension is not permanent and comes out in about three to six months.

So far Hypnotix Spalon has done the extensions for more than 30 people.

Hair stylist Tyler Zwan said, “It’s something that is a little more permanent, but we can put them in a place where you can’t see them if you work somewhere you need to hide them. It’s kind of fun, something people can do that’s a little different.”

Men can even show their support with semi-permanent hair dye.

The promotion will be going on all month long.
