Three found dead in Brunswick County

Shock and disbelief in one Brunswick County neighborhood after the discovery of three people, including a child were found dead inside a holden beach mobile home.

The public is in shock to find out that this wasn’t just a random act of violence but a murder suicide.

Officials responded to a mobile home just after six o’clock Friday night, off of Boones Neck Road in Holden Beach after family members discovered the bodies of Josh Outlaw, 23, Angel Williams, 29, and her five-year-old daughter Asya Jackson.

Preliminary autopsy results did show that all victims were killed by gun shot wounds. Forensic evidence found at the crime scene points to this shooting as a double murder suicide where Josh Outlaw shot both victims and then turned the gun on himself.

Investigators still haven’t determined a motive behind the shooting or a relationship between the three, but they do know Williams was renting her mobile from relatives of Outlaw.

The five-year-old killed in the shooting was a kindergarten student at Supply Elementary. School officials have been notified and will be on hand to provide counseling if necessary.
