Bragg soldier accused of sexually assaulting a 2-year-old child
FAYETTEVILLE (AP) — A Fort Bragg soldier is awaiting extradition to Alabama, where he is wanted on charges of sexually assaulting a two-year-old child.
Authorities say 33-year-old Pfc. Robert Michael Masters has been in the Cumberland County Jail since Friday. Bail is set at $1 million.
Court documents state that Masters is accused of assaulting a two-year-old child in Montgomery, Ala., on Oct. 10.
He is assigned to the 1st Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, Fires Brigade, 18th Airborne Corps.
