City Council approves building plans

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington City Council addressed two zoning issues, one to change an area of Greenville Loop road for a 14 unit single family development and another on Lake Avenue for a low density multi-family development. Council voted unanimously to approve both changes.

Council members also discussed a drainage improvement contract for Cardinal drive and George Trask drive to help alleviate flooding. They voted unanimously to award the 673-thousand dollar contract.
