Military Cutoff construction winding down

WILMINGTON — The Military Cutoff construction project is winding down. That’s the word from the Department of Transportation.

Crews have moved the orange barrels to the side of the road. They still have to paint stripes on one section of the road.

Officials say the project should be finished in about a week and a half.
