Three die in Franklin County car accident

Three people are dead after a high-speed chase in Franklin County Saturday.

Police say Guy Christopher Ayscue of Henderson was trying to get away from them. They say when Ayscue tried to pass a car at the top of a hill on US 15 he hit another car head-on at about 90 miles an hour.

Ayscue and the two people in the other car — 18-year-old Linsay Erin Lunsford and her nine-year-old sister Maggie — died in the crash.

Relatives say the two sisters were coming home from a shopping trip.
