Gore urges action on climate change during Nobel ceremony
OSLO, Norway (AP) — Al Gore told the audience at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony that it’s “time to make peace with the planet.”
Gore accepted the award in Oslo, Norway, along with the head of the U.N.’s climate agency.
Gore urged America and China to take the boldest steps on emissions.
Gore said earlier that it’s not too late for the Bush administration to help draft a new treaty to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
He told The Associated Press that he thinks the next president will shift American policy on climate change.
