House fire shuts off downtown intersection

WILMINGTON — A downtown Wilmington intersection is closed at this hour because of a pretty big house fire.

Firefighters are on still on the scene at a home at Eighth and Dawson Streets.

Fire officials say they house was not occupied, and no one was injured.

City officials hope to have the road back open in the next hour or so.
