CHAPEL HILL (AP) — North Carolina has played its final nonconference game before ACC play starts Sunday at Clemson and it was led to victory by Tyler Hansbrough.

Hansbrough scored 25 points and was a perfect 11-for-11 on the free-throw line as No. 1 North Carolina routed Kent State 90-61 in Chapel Hill. The 14-0 Heels never trailed.

North Carolina also matched its longest winning streak under coach Roy Williams. Williams’ 2004-05 team also won 14 straight on its way to the school’s last national championship.
