Edwards vows to fight on in New Hampshire

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards is trying to put the best face on a disappointing second-place finish in the Iowa Democratic caucus.

Edwards says he’s wage a vigorous campaign against Iowa winner Barack Obama in New Hampshire.

He told supporters last night that the status quo lost and change won. Edwards says he’ll run in New Hampshire to find out who’s best suited to bring about the change the country needs.

New Hampshire voters go to the polls Tuesday.

Edwards says he’ll portray himself as more willing than Obama to battle what the former North Carolina senator calls the “corporate greed.”

Edwards has less campaign money than Obama and Clinton and Iowa was seen as his best hope for a key early victory.
