WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — In Kitchen Cops we have some low performers.

We start at the China Buffet 3606 Market Street in Wilmington.
Inspectors found:
Live roaches.
Need to remove dead roaches.
Raw food stored beside and above cooked food.
Non approved equipment.
Several areas in need of cleaning, and many other violations.
All in all a very low 77 for the China Buffet.

On to The Basics downtown at 319 N. Front Street in Wilmington.
Inspectors found:
The need to clean all food containers.
The processor was stored dirty.
The manager did not have current Servsafe certification, and other violations.
A low total 84 for The Basics.
