Southport to honor heroes who saved man from sinking car

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Three young men who saved a man from a sinking car in Southport last week will be honored for their good deed.

At their February 14 Southport Board of Aldermen meeting, Police Chief Jerry Dove will recognize C.J. and Cameron Bryant and Jakob Puskas.

The three ran into the water January 21 to save 77-year-old Jaochin Wallrath after his car ran off the road.
