Wilmington police investigate overnight murder

WILMINGTON — Wilmington police are investigating a murder.

Officers responded just after 1:30 this morning to the intersection of 10th and Campbell Streets. Officers found a body in the street which was shot at least once.

Twenty-two-year-old Jevorne Quaine Valentine was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are pursuing leads in the case.
