Brunswick County man gets nearly 20 years for child porn

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A Brunswick County man will spend a very long time in prison for transmitting child pornography over the internet.

Collier Sessoms has been sentenced to almost 20 years after pleading guilty in federal court.

Sessoms was unknowingly chatting with a New Jersey detective online and via telephone when he said he had sexually abused two young boys.

A search of his home and computer revealed a substantial collection of child pornography.
