Leland Police search for home invasion suspect

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police need help finding a home invasion suspect they say is armed and dangerous.

Detectives have charges pending on Torie Nesbitt for a break-in on Greensview Circle Thursday. They’ve already arrested a 14-year-old for first degree robbery in connection with the crime.

Nesbitt faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault by pointing a gun, first degree burglary and larceny after breaking and entering.

Police say they are following more leads and expect more arrests.
