Groups ask for help cleaning beaches

WILMINGTON — Before the summer rush to the beach…some local groups want you to help clean it up.

Maid Two Clean, along with Keep America Beautiful and the Surf Rider Foundation are kicking off a summer long beach clean up project this weekend.

If you want to help keep the beaches looking beautiful just head out to the north end of Carolina Beach on Saturday.
