Obama coming to Wilmington, Bill Clinton to Whiteville

WILMINGTON — A day after Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke to a crowd of about 5,000 along the Wilmington Riverwalk, Sen. Barack Obama's campaign expects a packed house at UNCW's Trask Coliseum Monday.

Obama will hold a town hall meeting at UNCW's Trask Coliseum at 1 p.m. Monday. Doors open at 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. However, space is limited and tickets are required. Admission is first-come, first-served for ticket-holders.

Obama's campaign gave away all of the available tickets at the Wilmington headquarters. But there will be a limited number available at 8 a.m. Monday at the the corner of Government Center Drive and Racine Drive. For more information on the event call (910) 399-1045.

The Clinton campaign also announced Sunday that the candidate's husband, former president Bill Clinton's schedule this week will include stops in Whiteville and Lumberton Wednesday. Details of Mr. Clinton's visits to the area Wednesday have not yet been released.
