MLK Parkway Bridge lane closures

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If your daily commute takes you down MLK, expect some delays in the coming weeks.

Bridge inspections mean lane closures on the Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway/US 74 bridge over Smith Creek and 23rd Street in New Hanover County. The delays will start on Tuesday and end on Friday, April 12.

The inspections will be done on weekdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Crews will inspect lanes in both directions during the two week period, but only one lane will be closed at a time.
