UPDATE: Name released in fatal Brunswick Co. house fire

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The name of a woman who died in a mobile home fire in Brunswick County Monday night has been released.

Officials say 55-year-old Bertha Denise Wilson died inside the house. No one else was inside.

According to officials, the call came in just before 5:00 at 3831 Calico Court.

The flames that started in the laundry room and kitchen area were contained in about an hour, according to fire crews.
