Police: Two shot at soda bottling plant north of Charlotte

CONCORD, N.C. — Authorities in Concord say two people have been shot at a soda bottling plant, and the suspected shooter remains at large.

Concord police Sgt. Lisa Linker said Friday there was no immedate word on the condition of those shot at the Sun-drop Bottling Co., which manufactures soft drinks and spring water.

Linker said the shooter fled on foot, and police are using using dogs and helicopters to search the area north of Charlotte.
