UNCW honors graduating student-athletes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW Seahawks are ready to soar into their future. Today the school honored graduating athletes.

The class of 2013 took part in a sashing event. The ceremony is a new tradition that features each graduating senior being honored by his or her head coach for their athletic and academic performances. TheY also get a sash to wear with their cap and gown on graduation day.
