Closing arguments today in Delgado trial

After almost two months in the courtroom, the Tyrone Delgado murder trial may finally be wrapping up.

He is accused of killing former FBI secretary Melissa Mooney back in the late nineties.

Closing arguments started around 2:00 p.m. today.

Public defender Jennifer Harjo summed up her case, saying “There is no evidence pointing toward Tyrone Delgado.”

She said the witnesses prosecutors called to the stand to testify about Delgado’s past behavior didn’t prove he killed Melissa Mooney.

We will let you know as soon as there is a verdict.
