Wrightsville Beach restaurant break ins

Police say several thousand dollars in wine, food and cash was stolen from Jerrys Food, Wine and Spirits and Buoy 32. The nature of the break ins led police to believe that the suspect is familiar with the restaurant business. Police say both restaurants were locked, and there were no obvious signs of forced entry. With the slumping economy, out of the ordinary crimes like these ones are popping up in the area.

Police have released this sketch of the suspect. He’s described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, believed to be in his late twenties. Five eight to five eleven, about two hundred and twenty pounds with a stocky build. Anyone with information is asked to call Wrightsville Beach Detective Sean Appler at 256-7945.
