Moore endorses Perdue for governor

A few months ago, they were rivals. Now, North Carolina treasurer Richard Moore is standing behind lieutenant governor Bev Perdue.

Perdue secured the Democratic nomination for governor in the May primary.

Moore is e-mailing his supporters, urging them to throw their support behind Perdue in the November election.

He says the two have their differences, but they pale in comparison to differences they both have with Republican nominee Pat McCrory.
