Rewards offered in two Wilmington crimes
The WPD and the North Carolina Governor’s Crime Commission are teaming up for a $10,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person who sexually assaulted and stabbed a 24-year-old woman.
The young woman was attacked in the early morning hours of July 24th. She was walking alone in the area of Third and Market Streets.
The victim was able to help investigators create a composite sketch of her attacker, seen here.

In an unrelated case, the WPD and family of 26-year-old Emmett Cinque Irving are offering up to $10,000 for help finding whoever’s responsible for Irving’s murder.
He was gunned down just after midnight on July 24, after getting out of his car in the 800 block of Grace Street.
