Brunswick County budget holds line on tax rate
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — As expected, the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved its 2013-14 fiscal year budget Monday night.
The county will hold the line on its tax rate at 44.25 cents per $100 of valuation.
The budget features a $2.5 million allocation for an increase in wages for county employees and an implementation of upgrades to the county's technology.
