Commuter Challenge in the works

Planning is in the works for the second annual Commuter Challenge.

The contest challenges people who work in this area to commute to and from work as efficiently as possible. This includes carpooling, biking, walking or using public transportation.

The company that proves to be the most efficient wins prizes.

John Phelps of Corning Incorporated participated in last year’s challenge, he says it’s the right thing to do.

This year’s challenge will run from September 15 through October 17.
