Southport lawn care business owner accused of stealing equipment

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County deputies arrested a lawn care business owner in the Southport area.

Kyle Pierce, 21, who owns East Coast Lawn Care, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment including a skid steer and John Deere roller attachment.

Pierce faces several charges including felony larceny for the crimes, deputies said, happened over the last two months.

He’s at the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $30,000 bond.
